We do not collect personal information from visitors of photocanvas.lv web site in spite of the fact that they give it voluntary. If you simply look through the site and study our production as usual, not registered, we will see your server of access to the Internet (for example, apollo.lv), but not yours e-mail address either other information.

As we provide delivery service of ready canvases by usual or express mail, it is necessary for you to give personal information: name and surname, the address, a phone number, e-mail, the address of delivery (if differs from yours). The information sent by you comes on the protected server and safely stored there.

Registered users

When you purchase items from our online catalogue, you can register and to have your name added to our Customer List.

It will give you additional opportunities, and also will relieve of necessity to

fill in personal data at the secondary order. For registration you have to provide us with your active e-mail address and a password. We will not share your email address with any third parties at any time.

Copyright

Photo or images are necessary for us in order to realize your orders. By sending to us your image, you are automatically acknowledging photocanvas.lv that you are the copyright owner of this image, or have obtained permission from the copyright owner in written form, which permits us to print it in accordance with your order. We can not use your images for other printing or online display unless you authorise us to do so in written.

We follow the principle of copyright protection to photos or images from illegal use and we expect the same attitude from our clients.

Each person sending to us a photo, according to the EU legislation, should have copyright to it or the sanction of the third parties about the use before it can be sent for further processing on photocanvas.lv.

Terms of payment

All prices on our website are specified in lats (LVL) and in euro (EUR). Any payment should be made according to the order. If corresponding payment is not confirmed, photocanvas.lv reserves the right to itself not to proceed the service requested, and to return your initial materials. The term of order execution is considered from receipt of your payment.

Responsibilities and Guarantee

We cannot bear the responsibility for possible damages during transportation. As a precaution we keep a digital copy of your image till the moment of the goods reception. Unfortunately money for the executed order cannot be returned. In case of a poor-quality from faulty photocanvas.lv manufacturing, work will be altered. The quality and composition of the supplied original is the responsibility of the customer and goods will not be replaced due to issues arising from the nature of the original.

An advance payment received can be returned only in case the order is not started yet in manufacture. In case of the order cancellation 20 % from the total cost of the order is kept.

Modification in the order after its acknowledgement is possible only for an additional payment at a cost of 15 Ls.

Requirements to a format and size of photos

Images are accepted both in a digital and traditional format, or any other carriers. For maximal result achievement your files should correspond to the following requirements: the size of the file should not be less than 100-150 dpi (for example, it is enough for 30х40 cm canvas manufacturing the size of the image with the resolution of 1400х1800 points), with no compression.

You have to realize, that in case of the image enhancement – canvas can lose accuracy and deviations of color appear.

Photo/Image  modification

As your original image will be copied digitally, you have to accept possible necessity of the sizes change or cropping images for the best result achievement. If you have wishes to processing the image, please write your remarks in the  section "additional opportunities ".

We do care about the quality, therefore there are some things that we do for every image that we think needs enhancing at no charge to you.

These include: remove date stamp, remove red eye, adjust sharpness, brightness and contrast, colour balance correction.  Photocanvas.lv  is not obliged to pursue all above described effects. They do it wheather by your request  or for the final result improvement.
